Do you think that we should tithe on your tax refund? Any thoughts?

If you tithed on your income in the first place, wouldn't it be a "double" tithe if you also tithed on the income tax refund? Not that that is a bad thing but I don't think people should feel required to do it.

Just a thought! If your job pays you twice for the same week, do you tithe or give for one? If God returns money back to you does He deserve acknowledgement of it or has your first acknowledgement enough for the second time if its the same? Give unto Cesar what is his and if he gives it back isn't it another increase into your life. Just a thought.

Tithing with your tax refund. I have been told NO on that, becuase you have already paid taxes into it. Mentioned to me was if you pay tithe on your tax refund then you are paying twice. So that is just coming from one Pastor. I don't really know the answer to that. I wondered that also. That is why I ask and was told no.

I tithe on the "gross" income. That would mean I had already given the tithe on all income.
