ONE-DAY SEMINAR
ADVANCED LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Our society is becoming more and more complex. Kids now have three sets of grandparents. Sexual addiction for men and women is growing at an exponential rate. Divorce is at an all-time high – for Christians. This is our reality.

Pastors and lay ministers interested in reaching out to their congregations and communities are invited to attend a special Celebrate Recovery One-Day Regional Seminar to learn more.

Fifteen years ago, Saddleback Church launched Celebrate Recovery with 43 people. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits, and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery has helped more than 8,500 people at Saddleback, attracting more than 70 percent of its members from outside the church. Eighty-five percent of the people who go through the program stay with the church and nearly half serve as church volunteers.

During this one-day event, you will hear an overview of the program from founder John Baker and his wife, Cheryl. Their testimony will show the power of God's healing hand and how it led to the birth of a recovery movement. You will learn the best practices and pitfalls to avoid as you start your ministry, gleaning from their 15 years of experience.

At the end of the day, you will know:

 - How to start your program
 - Train leaders
 - Structure fellowship events
 - Reach out to the community
 - Implement the curriculum
 - Build a God-exalting worship experience

Celebrate Recovery leaders and pastors interested in taking their Celebrate Recovery to a new level of health and growth are invited to attend a special One Day Advanced Leadership Training Seminar. If you have had a Celebrate Recovery ministry up and running for 6 months or more, have attended a One Day Seminar or the Celebrate Recovery Summit, and are ready for a more in-depth training, this is the training for you.

The Advanced Leadership Training Seminar will run concurrently with the One-Day Seminar to provide a great experience for your Celebrate Recovery leadership team. While your new leaders are attending the One Day Seminar to learn the basics, join your experienced leaders and go deeper into Celebrate Recovery dynamics and training.

During this one day event, John Baker and the National Training Team will help you navigate through, and optimally utilize, the Advanced Leadership Training Guide, containing 15 years of training developed especially for Celebrate Recovery. Evaluate your ministry, pinpointing strengths and identifying areas to reinforce, and learn how to identify and train new leaders.

Bring your Advanced Leadership Training Kit to maximize the benefits of the seminar. Also, they will be available for purchase at the conference.

**This conference will be offered at select locations only.

"As I look around the church during our weekend services, I see many of our key church leaders have come out of the Celebrate Recovery ministry. We recognize that Celebrate Recovery is not only a great resource to help people who need to break out of destructive life patterns, but it also generated healthy people who are capable to assume leadership at all levels of ministry. I shudder to think how Santa Cruz Bible Church would be different if Celebrate Recovery were not around."
 - Dave Gschwend, executive pastor, Santa Cruz Bible Church
